This month we want to share with you, our lovely readers, two of our favorite holiday beverages! Tasty bevvies, as we like to say! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
WINTER WHITE COSMO
Oh, this is a treat every winter when we feel the holiday season is upon us! We used to enjoy these tasty bevs at Bonefish Grill, then figured out how to make them at home to extend the fun!
Ingredients: vodka, white cranberry juice, elderflower liqueur, fresh lime juice, rosemary simple syrup, frozen cranberries
To make the simple syrup: put equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Add 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary and steep until the mixture is cooled.
Put 1 jigger of vodka in a shaker filled with ice. Add 2 jiggers of cranberry juice. Add the juice of 1 lime. Add the elderflower liqueur and simple syrup to taste - about 2 -4 teaspoons each. Shake, shake, shake.
Pour into a lovely glass and top with a few frozen cranberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary. Cheers!
