Weekend Getaway: Pensacola Beach

Pensacola Beach
Early morning on Pensacola Beach

Nothing says "summer" like the beach! We are big fans of Pensacola Beach (did you know Angela grew up in Pensacola?), which is about a 3-hour drive for us. Have you ever been?

If the beach is in your future, we have some recommendations for you!

Eat Fresh Seafood

First up: We recommend seeking out some fresh seafood...honestly, it just tastes better on the beach!

Enjoy a Nice Meal

While on Pensacola Beach, we never miss an opportunity to eat at The Grand Marlin. This time around, we enjoyed their grouper picatta...it was divine! They have a great indoor-outdoor space with delicious food, tasty drinks, and pretty views of the water. The vibe here is really neat- you can dress up or be beachy-casual and still fit right in.

Head to a Beach Bar

Beachy vibes

Beach bars are SO much fun! There's something about being surrounded by sand and waves and munching on some fried food that really cannot be beat. We recently tried the Landshark Land Bar and would highly recommend it! Get the burger and fries (and get there early- this place fills up quickly!).

Spend Time in the Sand

Beach hair- we don't care!

There's something really special about standing in the sand and enjoying the breeze...and maybe a glass or two of rose!

Rose all day!

If you're going to the beach this summer, we wish you safe travels and loads of fun! Let us know your favorite things to do at the beach in the comments...we'd love to hear from you!
