Toasted Garbanzo Beans



This is a yummy snack that is low in calories and full of healthy protein. Try this as a bar snack to mix things up!


  • 1 can of garbanzo beans (also called chickpeas), drained and rinsed

  • Olive oil, about 1 tablespoon

  • Cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder - use whatever flavors you prefer


After the beans are drained, dry them on a paper towel and spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.


Sprinkle with olive oil and spices.


Roast in the oven at 375 degrees for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.


Serve warm.
