Puzzles are the best! I feel as if I have recently rediscovered puzzles as an adult, and I am so glad I did. I’m not the best puzzler- 500 pieces is about my limit right now- but I enjoy every minute of it. There is something so satisfying about popping a tricky piece into where it needs to go.
Over Christmas, my husband and I completed a holiday themed puzzle and listened to podcasts while we worked.
My mom and I worked on two different holiday puzzles and binged our favorite Christmas movies and comedies while we snapped pieces into place.
The best part about a puzzle is that it gives you an opportunity to slow down and talk to the person across from you. You spend time moving a little slower and finishing something together, and it’s such a nice way to while away the hours.
Maybe one day I’ll work up to a big 1,000 piece puzzle, but for now, I am more than content with my 300 pieces and slow-moving afternoons.
I am also a puzzle lover! My parents always have a puzzle going when I am at their house. I do one at my place every now and then. Not as often as I would really like but, I find when I have a puzzle going I end up staying up way to late especially during the week and then it can be a little tough trying to get up for work in the morning! When the stay at home order is over I think we need to get together and do a puzzle ladies:)
