If you like a cookie that is both crisp and chewy this one's for you!

2 cups of brown sugar
2 sticks of butter at room temperature
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 ½ cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of baking soda
3 cups of oats
½ cup of golden raisins
½ cup of chopped pecans
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla and eggs and beat until mixed.
Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and oats and mix well.
Stir in the raisins and pecans.
Spoon onto a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.*
*These cookies spread a lot in the oven so make sure you put plenty of space between them on the cookie sheet.
