I am a big believer in moderation in all things- including moderation. I do not often order dessert after dinner, but when I do, I want it to be completely over the top, delicious, and unlike anything I would make at home.
I’d like to introduce you to the Brookie Cake at Chop House on the Bricks in Thomasville.
The Brookie Cake is alternating layers of whipped peanut butter, chocolate brownie-like cake, and a sweet crust with chocolate chip cookies and homemade whipped cream and berries on the side. It is heavenly and sinful all at the same time.
The best part about this cake is that it is not too sweet (believe it or not!). It’s the perfect balance of decadent and satisfying after a delicious meal. I would recommend having a cup of coffee with it because coffee is the perfect way to end any meal.
