Christmas morning breakfast is usually rather raucous in our house. Coffee and champagne flow easily and lots of hungry people clamber around the kitchen at top volume. It’s the best.

One of my favorite things about Christmas breakfast is just how many breakfast meats it features. Here is a run down of our traditional breakfast menu:
Coffee, champagne, juices
Ham biscuits- these are very simple and crazy delicious! Simply slice open pre-made bakery rolls and smear with butter, then add 2-3 slices of deli ham and a bit of mustard. Top with more butter and bake until golden (5-8 minutes). Perfect!
Pigs in a blanket with dijon mustard (made with cocktail weenies and crescent rolls)
Cinnamon rolls (if making them from scratch is your jam, go for it! ...but after enough champagne, pre-made are a little easier ;)
Bacon
Sausage links- smoked and spicy Italian style
This is the most filling and glorious breakfast of the entire year. We skip over Christmas lunch and instead opt for a Chinese feast for dinner. The breakfast foods stay out throughout the day so people can snack and nap and snack some more.

Is it healthy? No. But it is delicious and festive, so you really can’t beat that :)
